Powerful computational tools to accelerate stem higher education and research in North Carolina.

NCShare Compute as a Service (CaaS) and GPU as a Service (GaaS) is a program established and funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation to help researchers and educators to utilize computing systems and services – at no cost to you. NCShare accommodates a wide range of computational needs, from interactive sessions using tools like MATLAB, RStudio, and Jupyter Notebooks, to parallel workflows for large-scale computations.

Self-service computing allocations are provided for faculty and students of NCShare Participants.

  • We are currently seeking research early adopters. If you are interested in participating as a researcher, subscribe to our mailing list by emailing sympa@duke.edu with subject line: subscribe ncshare_champions@duke.edu firstname lastname. Leave the message body blank.
  • All individuals with IT support responsibilities for educational and research computing at our consortium partners and participating institutions are invited to participate in the support of NCShare services. Sign up on our IT Support page.
